A few words to get to know me better

My Journey

What brought me here

Born in 1963, I obtained my Montessori diploma in 1983 at the AMI centre in Perugia, Italy. At the age of 20, I joined the Montessori school in Geneva, founded by my mother in 1957, where I taught the 3-6 age group. At the same time, I continued my studies in Education Sciences at the University of Geneva.
At the age of 23, life presented me with a devastating challenge: the sudden death of my mother, who had played such an essential role in my life. I took over the management of her school, supported by an outstanding teaching team, my father, who took over the administration, and my husband, who set up the IT management system. A few years later, he also trained in Montessori pedagogy and took responsibility for the primary levels. Together, we have continued this educational adventure with commitment and joy. Married since 1989, we are parents to two children, now adults.
For more than twenty-five years, I have accompanied dozens of families, shared their joys, listened to their doubts, and welcomed their concerns. I have grown with them, enriched by the bonds we have forged day after day. The lively and vibrant school life has deeply rooted me in the reality of parenthood, children's needs, and the intensity of everyday life.
In 2009, with heavy hearts, we had to close the school for reasons beyond our control. It was a great loss, of course, but also a turning point. Looking back, I see this stage as an opening. It invited me to broaden my horizons and welcome new forms that my vocation and experience could take.

Doula

A renewal that delights me
In 2023, while looking for a job in the field of perinatal care, I discovered the profession of doula: a real revelation that breathed new life into my career. I applied for the Doula Suisse training programme and was delighted to be accepted.
Since then, I have been reading, writing, learning and developing a passion for the subject. I have met some wonderful people and enjoyed exchanges based on listening, sharing, solidarity and mutual support.
I am also training in wellness techniques such as:
  • Rebozo - L'Arbre de Vie, September 2024
  • Shantala Baby Massage - Impermanence, February 2025
  • Prenatal Massage - Impermanence, June 2025
  • Postnatal Massage - Impermanence, June 2025
My whole family is enthusiastically supporting me in this new beginning.

My Philosophy

Sowing trust where life grows
  • I firmly believe that every woman has the instinctive power to give birth.
  • That every parent always does their best to welcome, love and guide their child.
  • And that every baby comes into the world with unsuspected skills, ready to be expressed, as long as they are given the space to do so.
  • In my role as a doula, I listen, I support, I help, in short, I am there for you.
  • Convinced that knowledge precedes free choice and nurtures strength, I also share information and provide guidance, without making decisions for you.

My Values

  • Openness
  • Trust
  • Inclusivity
  • Tolerance
  • Kindness
  • Listening
  • Presence
  • Sharing
  • Commitment
  • Support
