My way of being there for you
My way of being there for you
My Work as a Doula
Aimed at all families, respecting their diversity

Being attentive
This is the common thread running through the relationship I build with each family.
These moments are a space for you: an opportunity to talk freely about your personal needs and feelings, to express what is important to you, and to ask questions.
It adapts to every stage of your journey
Meetings usually begin around the 23rd week, but this may vary depending on your preferences.
They last 2 hours and take place at your home, individually or as a couple.

For information
Knowledge calms fears, builds confidence and allows you to surrender more naturally to the process. Becoming familiar with your body's intelligence and understanding the mechanisms of pregnancy and birth is already a way of connecting with your strength and power.
That's why I'd like to invite you to explore the major stages of motherhood together: pregnancy, labour and birth. We'll also look ahead and prepare for the postpartum period, breastfeeding and the early days of your future family life. When the time comes, this will help lighten your mental load and allow you to enjoy this ‘fourth trimester’ with greater peace of mind.
Educational and entertaining cards enrich our discussions and shed light on these topics in a lively manner.
Resources available to you
To extend these exchanges between you and facilitate the organisation of the first few weeks, practical documents are available for your use.
These are tools to be shared with your family and adapted to your situation.

Draw up a birth plan
We can also discuss your ‘Birth Plan’. This personal document allows you to express your wishes regarding the delivery process, medical interventions, the atmosphere, and the initial care provided to your baby.
This plan can then be given to the team who will be assisting you during the birth, so that they can take it into account.

Between our meetings
I remain available to answer your questions by message.
Every week, I send you Le Courrier de la Doula: a newsletter related to your week of pregnancy.
Here you will find information about your baby's development, the changes taking place in your body, and some practical advice to help you in your daily life.

During Childbirth
In a hospital setting, in a birth center, or at home
I begin my maternity leave two weeks before your due date and extend it if the baby is late. During this period, I am available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
As soon as the labour is confirmed, I will join you at your place of birth. I will bring the accessories you have chosen (music player, cushions, rebozo, drinks, snacks, etc.).
I will ensure your comfort, support you and, if you wish, liaise with the medical team. I also know how to be discreet and stay in the background if that is more appropriate at the time.
I will remain on site until you have settled into your room, approximately two hours after the birth.
At the birth centre or at home, I am available to assist the midwife: preparing equipment, running a bath, offering a hot drink, cleaning or doing a little washing up. I can also take care of your older children, if they are present.
I am also attentive to your partner's well-being: I help them find their place, get involved if they wish, or withdraw for a moment in complete peace of mind, safe in the knowledge that they will be called upon if the situation changes.

After the birth
Two or three appointments
- The first visit is a time to share how you experienced the birth. It’s a positive debrief, a moment to put words to your story, release accumulated emotions, and make sense of what you went through.
- The second visit is to review your postpartum journey, support you during this transition, and adjust whatever may still need attention.
- Finally, to gently conclude my support and offer you a moment just for yourself, a third visit, free of charge and with no obligation, can take the form of a wellness treatment, a home-cooked meal, a parenting coaching session, or simply caring for your children so you can enjoy a restorative nap.
